Anevia's new Flamingo 220 (1RU) is based on the Flamingo technology that has been successfully deployed in more than 30 countries. It features many industry-leading and carrier-grade innovations for IPTV deployment: - More performance: 2 full transponders per equipment (up to 60 TV channels streamed with one equipment), lower price per channel/transponder, Gigabit Ethernet ports, new hardware and software, - More features: free-to-air or encrypted channels streamed, DVB-S2 compatibility, time shared services, PID remapping, - More simplicity: all-in-one 1RU (demodulator, descrambler, muxer.), management (via SNMP, web service or web interface), 2 CAM slots in front panel, product range simplification. New models are Flamingo 220S for DVB-S and DVB-S2, Flamingo 220C for DVB-C and Flamingo 220T for DVB-T and theyr are replacing the former ones (Flamingo 110S, 200S, 200T and 200C). Flamingos 220x have been already preordered and successfully tested by some telecom operators for their current IPTV head ends.
Flamingo 220x is now available at Q2 2007.
Anevia is bringing its technology to Prague this month, at IPTV World Forum. Visitors will see this new IPTV gateway for the first time at this event.
